The Opengrants Foundation is an international nonprofit organization based in Thailand, advancing solutions to some of the most pressing social and economic challenges across Thailand and beyond in the Asia Pacific.
Informed by partnerships with local communities and organizations, we work across sectors to improve lives, expand opportunities, and deliver meaningful impact.
Our Purpose
The Opengrants Foundation was founded to address structural inequities and support sustainable solutions in some of the most dynamic and complex settings across Asia and the Pacific.
Our programs improve local, national, and regional governance and economies, upskill workers, promote peace and stability, counter transnational crime, and strengthen resource management.
Working at the intersection of these challenges, Opengrants applies behavioral science, strategic communications, and community engagement to bridge law enforcement, NGOs, and the health sector in ways that none can achieve alone.

The Opengrants Foundation, founded in 2025, is a non profit advancing social resilience through grantmaking, research, and knowledge sharing. It builds on the experience of Thaiconsent Company Limited, a social enterprise recognized for its work in civic media and policy consulting across the region.

Founded in 2015 in response to gaps in public understanding on social issues in Thailand, Thaiconsent began as a civic movement using storytelling, art, and participatory media to spark public dialogue and awareness. The initiative gained national attention and regional influence, inspiring similar efforts across Southeast Asia.
By 2021, it became a registered social enterprise, Delivering solutions across areas such as governance, environmental sustainability, health, youth empowerment, animal protection, and civic innovation. With a strong track record in policy consulting, campaign design, and public engagement, Thaiconsent positioned itself at the intersection of media, governance, and strategic development, applying research driven and culturally grounded approaches to complex social challenges.
Recognizing the growing need for structured collaboration, the team established the Opengrants Foundation as an agile and transparent platform to manage non commercial partnerships. OpenGrants works with institutions to support public interest initiatives across governance, environmental sustainability, health, youth empowerment, animal protection, civic innovation, and related areas addressing emerging social challenges.
