The OpenGrants Foundation<\/strong> was officially established in 2025 as a non-profit organization focused on fostering social resilience and innovation through strategic grantmaking, research, and knowledge dissemination. Its formation was a natural extension of the work pioneered by ThaiConsent Company Limited<\/a><\/strong>, a social enterprise that evolved from a grassroots advocacy initiative into a regional leader in strategic communications, civic media, and policy consulting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2015 in response to widespread misunderstandings about sexual consent and gender-based violence in Thailand, ThaiConsent began as a civic movement using storytelling, art, and participatory media to ignite public dialogue around gender equity and sexual justice. The initiative gained national attention and regional influence, inspiring similar efforts across Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, as social issues in Thailand became increasingly interconnected with young people facing overlapping challenges in mental health, digital safety, economic inequality, and democratic participation; ThaiConsent expanded its work beyond gender alone. By 2021, it had become a registered social enterprise<\/strong>, delivering solutions across themes such as ESG governance, environmental sustainability, youth empowerment, animal welfare, and civic innovation. Its clients included UN agencies, international NGOs, and government bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
